Path Forward Symposium

December 7, 2019

beginning to chart the path forward in our diocese

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2019  |   9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Montante Cultural Center, Canisius College

The symposium provided an opportunity for us to reconvene and have a conversation on two key topics:

  • What desired qualities the laity would like to see in the next bishop of the Diocese of Buffalo; and
  • What is happening at a grass roots level within the parishes.

The agenda also included an overview of what will likely happen should the Diocese of Buffalo file for bankruptcy.

Bishop Edward Scharfenberger, newly appointed apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Buffalo and bishop of Albany,  was in attendance this symposium and delivered opening remarks.
